We welcome walk-ins at The Sidings, but we do highly recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
Our charming converted train carriage features a unique layout with tables set in twos and fours. For parties of five or more, we kindly ask that you contact us directly via phone during our opening hours or by email.
This allows our team to arrange seating that ensures your group stays together and enjoys the best possible dining experience. We look forward to welcoming you!
Frequently asked questions.
Are we dog friendly?
Well behaved dogs that are on leads are welcome outside, but not in the café and the farm shop, unless they are a service dog. Any dog mess must be cleared up and taken with you.
Are we wheelchair friendly?
Yes, we are pushchair accessible, but we ask that pushchairs are not brought into the actual café carriage due to space restrictions (like any train carriage!).
Please note that the ramps leading to the terrace and the farm shop are steep in places. We also have a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.
Do we have highchairs?
We offer highchairs that fit securely on top of our seats. However, due to our unique layout, standalone highchairs cannot be accommodated in the aisles.
Please keep this in mind when making your reservation and ensure your little one is included in the booking so they have a comfortable seat. We look forward to hosting you and your family!

Yes we do!
You can grab a takeaway coffee to enjoy on the go or savour outside in our lovely garden area. Just let our friendly team know your order, and they’ll be happy to help!
